Accessibility statement
An inclusion consultancy with a website people can't use would be a strange thing. We want everyone to be able to read, navigate and use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We test with a keyboard, with screen readers, at high zoom and on phones.
What we've done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can jump straight to what they need. Links that open a new tab say so.
- Text and buttons meet contrast requirements, and the layout holds up at 200% zoom.
- Images that carry meaning have descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have clear labels and tell you which fields you can skip. The contact, enquiry and course forms each have an optional box to tell us about your access needs.
- All THRIVE course videos have captions turned on in YouTube.
What we're still working on
- Our PDF guides are tagged so screen readers can follow them, but a PDF is never as easy to use as a web page. That's why every guide is also on this site as a full web page. If you'd like a Word version, just ask.
- Some older posts on our blog were written before this site and may not meet the same standard.
Ask for another format
If something on this site doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, such as large print, a Word document or an audio walkthrough, email info@thriveandinclude.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 98994 07720. We'll reply within five working days.
Tell us what's not working
We really do want to know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use if you're comfortable sharing it.
